Real Estate Firm brings the joy of the holidays to less fortunate children in Southeastern Wisconsin
Shorewest, REALTORS® is proud to have hosted their largest charitable event, Christmas is for Kids, (C4K) for the 40th year in a row. Started in 1984 by Shorewest associate Del Rohr, this tradition has continued to grow each year and is now led by Rohr’s daughter, Shorewest associate Christine Caponigro. Assisted by various members of the Shorewest team, C4K brings the magic of the holiday season to kids of all ages regardless of economic status.
“C4K creates a fantastic holiday experience for so many children in Southeastern Wisconsin by providing food, gifts, a meet and greet with Santa and memories that will last a lifetime. The entire Shorewest, REALTORS® team works so hard to make this holiday special for all the children who attend; we are honored to continue this tradition year after year,” said Shorewest President, Joe Horning. “This is truly the passion project of our team and they are proud to plan, set up and host C4K every year.”
Christmas is for Kids would not be possible without the tireless efforts and donations of time and money made by the Shorewest team throughout the entire year. Thanks to events like the annual C4K golf outing, the largest fundraiser for this event, agents are able to achieve their goal of putting on a wonderful holiday celebration for the less fortunate children in the communities that they serve. This year, over 350 children participated in C4K, making it among the largest celebrations hosted since C4K began.
